Consultation

On your first visit Dr. Thornquist will talk to you about your condition and ask specific questions to determine if you can benefit from chiropractic care. If you can benefit from his care, he will let you know and come up with a treatment plan. However, if your condition will not respond to chiropractic care, Dr. Thornquist will let you know and refer you to a doctor that can help you most. As a new patient, your first visit will take longer than follow-up visits. You will need to plan for 45-60 minutes.

Examination

A complete and thorough chiropractic, orthopedic and neurological examination will be done. These tests will help determine the cause of the problem and how to treat it.

X-Ray

When reasonable and necessary, x-rays will be ordered to give further insight to the cause of the condition. Not all patients require x-rays and it is not mandatory for care.
