X-rays are taken on some patients to give Dr. Thornquist an inside look at what is going on with the bone structure of the spine and surrounding skeletal structure. From these x-ray's, Dr. Thornquist can see your current spinal condition as well as any potential further issues that may require him to order advanced imaging such as a CT scan or an MRI. Dr. Thornquist orders all his x-rays and advanced diagnostic imaging through RAYUS Radiology (Formally CDI) which has several locations throughout the Twin Cities.
